hi there ; yes istanbul is expanding but they somehow hang on to the traditional architect and it actually does blend and much of the architect along the boshorus remains . there is more photos of the wedding at http://www.facebook.com/people/Brian-Underdown/61... should be viewable if not i may create an album on here .

That must have been a beautiful wedding – post more photos! I do want to go back and soon. I hope they are not developing Istanbul as they are in NYC. Too many ugly buildings going up over here. How did you and your wife meet? I bet it's romantic!

It’s great how you described the whole thing really. Istanbul! When I was there last Summer, all I could say was ‘Istanbul Cok Guzel’ while the expression may have been flawed, there was no other words to describe the city, the people and everything.
You make me wanna go again badly!!!
