Profile
I currently live in Tarabya,Istanbul on the European side, my home is a five minute walk to the Bosphorus. I recently moved here in June 2009 and I hold a full residents permit for living in Turkey. This Blog is a non profit web site and is just about me and my wife living in this beautiful city on a day to day basis. Please appreciate and accept my apologies if I dont talk like a tourist . I just want to write about what is is like living here in Istanbul and share my experiences with whoever decides to read it .
I am not interested writing about politics,I am not a critic or political writer therefore I don’t share my opinions to the masses , all I wish to do is write about living here in Istanbul.

dear brian,
i am one of your twit follower, enjoy hearing about my city here in the netherlands.
lately we [as a network of architects and city designers] are starting a project in istanbul, are interested in the social media can influence the act of city making. you as a photographer and active twitter/blogger seem to be very relevant to the things we will be conducting very soon.
also your sensitivity for earthquake is a coincidence as part of the project is a ‘what if’ game about istanbul’s expected earthquake.
could we phone or skype?
hope to meet you soon virtually/actually [we plan to be in istanbul end of april/may...]
perhaps drop me a message via twitter nearer the time ,no skype set up here ,have deleted your details
oh my god! did not realize all my details will be open, thought i am sending you a message or so, can you please remove?
